Stupid gaijin moment #4

So my Japanese exam was on Sunday, and I went with a girl who was taking a different level than me. She planned out which trains and subways to take in order to get there, and I followed along. It wasn't until we were almost at the university that we realized that I had been assigned a different test site, in a completely different part of Nagoya!! There were so many times that I could have checked and still made it in time, but by the time I checked, I was an hour away from where I was supposed to be and the test was starting in 20 minutes. Needless to say, I missed the first of the three sections, but I went anyway and sat the other two parts. They weren't nearly as hard as I had expected, and had I had a little more time to study, I think I would have done well. However, missing the first section I would have had to get almost perfect on the rest of the test to pass, which I'm sure I didn't. Ah well, there's always next year. Next time I'll know to check my test site:)
